Alright I probably shouldn't even be saying this, but we recently had a big car show for a local club I am part of. Show went well despite some nasty weather that morning and there were some awesome cars there. In the end I grabbed second place (we wont say how many cars in my class) in the XXtreme fox class, and also recieved a CJ Pony Parts award. Not 100% sure on the criteria but it was for someone who put a lot of time and effort into their car. I was in shock when my name was called. The big perk is the car will be in an upcoming issue of 5.0 Mustangs in an article about the show. It isn't a spread, but I have to gather some pics to send in, and should have a small write up. Finally got some pics from the show and they look good to me, for not really detailing the car that well! Opinions good or bad is always welcome...

Second to last photo is my favorite. Love the car and it looks good in all of them, but the second to last is defintitely my favorite.

+1. The glossy finish and clean body lines are amazing!

Thanks and the funny part, that was an overcast day which was bad for taking pictures at. Gonna get some professional pictures very soon, trying to get the engine bay pin stripe done, and maybe some finish painting under there.

They weren't covering it, my friend and club member took the pics and I have to send them to CJ pony parts for them to get to the magazine. They are putting an article about the show in the mag, but didn't cover it themselves.

I wish I was the one taking the pics, but I don't have a good camera, so they are always taken by other people! Still, I don't complain.

I knew they weren't there, but they're still printing coverage. Same diff That's still killer for the club!

Thanks guys, but there were so many insane cars at the show I didn't even think about it. It was definately a huge surprise to me, and a nice one at that.

I agree Manson, it is good to see the show get recognition and the club as well. I plan to drag a few Mustang guys into the club Things seem to be going well for the whole club. The cruise yesterday had 30 cars or so and a great time!

Should have some good photos very soon from a small photoshoot, and should have the engine bay further along.

If you do join up tell them I referred you (I have a different screen name there though, so if you decide let me know ahead of time) and it saves me some $$ on my next membership.

Thanks bottle, and I sure hope so but I wont push it, if they want it, feel free if not, I plan to drive and enjoy it either way. That and I think I need more motor before they start knocking on my door.
