Picked up my 460 tonight

after seeing that big block fox website last night i decided im going for it i found an 86 coupe shell to put it in and have a 460 here already so all i need is the parts to make the swap come together now. anyone know where to get some 7.5L fender badges lol.

Exactly. The 347 I might build should make about 550hp at the crank with 11:1 compression on premium pump gas. To get into the 10's, I am going to have to spray a 150 shot. At this point, the car will be high 10's on slicks. John's fox with a mild 460, auto tranny, slicks and suspension would beat me on pump gas.

Are you talking about mine? Well the whole deal with steering away from the 460 in the 93 is mostly the smog. **** i'm about ready to go out and put the stock headers off the 95 on and the 4 catted fox pipe i have to get threw. So can anyone link me a site on what all will be needed to do the swap? I have all the supporting mods syspension and so forth, and no one has really answered the question if my tremac will work for the 460? See $hit my mind changes soooooooooooo much! One day it's the 95 the next it's afox one day a S.B the next a B.B? to many damn choices! So how about a 460 30 over with a nice cam stock heads (for now) barry grant and edelbrock air gap with a 150 shot, high 9's low 10's? I have the 26x10 slicks and from the sounds of it i need a what C4? or 6? peace

Why even play time bomb with the TTC? I thought you were gonna get the C4 and kick some arse. I mean, you won't be going through the twisties with a BB fox anyhow. And have you ever felt a big block leave off the Trans brake? If not, I strongly suggest you experience it, and you will have the 460 within a week!

Nope i havent but i could only imagine but i have felt my wimpy 302 with 310/328 launch with slicks at 5200! So well after my month of vacations is over it will be time to go 460 hunting! This month ohio for a week i'm leaving next week for it!!!! Then a 6 day vacation for the 4th and hopefully i'll live threw it? then work for 4 days then it's off to seattle for 4 days for the BIG DOG's can you say 4.50's peace

iron heads, big cam, single 4 barrel, c-4, 3.55 gears 28/10 slick
10.25 to be exact! at 3000 lbs . hard to go 2500 with bigblock.
you could build a low 11 high ten car that would run on pump gas easy.

what kind of c4 were you running behind that. im assuming a stock c4 equates to a wet paper bag behind a 460.
