Finally!! Been waiting since October 31st 2006. I took my Dad to the dealership to take home his GT500!! Red with white stripes, red and black leather and the Shaker 1000.

He drove it from the dealer to work, and I drove it from work to his house. Let me tell you....it is entirely different than any other car I have ever driven. I didn't stomp on it yet, because it has 20 miles on it and it's not mine...but you can tell the thing just wants to go. I took 1st only to 4,500RPM's and shifted into 2nd easily. It doesn't feel like you are going fast, then you look down and your doing 65MPH in our 25MPH sub. It felt like I was doing 15MPH! I think I want to sell everything I have and get one now!!!!! WOW! Can't wait to get used to the characteristics and handling and let her rip!!!!

This is something i actually like about my Fox....most people want a cushy ride, i want to feel the road and feel the engine shake and all that goodness. I guess if it were my daily driver or something i would think differently.

I don't blame you. I drove the GT500 again yesterday, then jumped in the notchback and wow, what a difference. It feels more torqey...yes the old 91 225HP motor FEELS more torquey, but I know it's not, and the ride was way more rough!! But I love both cars and thats why we own a little of everything.

I heard you can't get on it until it hit 50 miles or so due to a factory limiter. This is the same with the Ford GT.

Bad ass car none the less.

You can get on it, but the computer won't allow the car to go into full boost until it has so many miles or so many startups I believe.

Nice car there's one around here that looks just like it. Pisses me off too cause the guy will not get on it. I wanted to see it kick the TA's ass but he wouldn't even goose it .

Why buy something like that and not even do anything with all the power i don't understand.
