I know alot of you guys are up on your turbo facts/specs alot better than I am. Help me out, and all opinions are welcome! I'm shooting for 550rwhp+ and the tq who knows!
I just sold my S-Trim and I'm in the market for a turbo...I like the HP and PTK kits.
My Setup..basically
Eagle 331-4340 crank and H beams
Ebrock 1.90's...worked
Ebrock Perf. RPM
.498/220/114
42#inj, 255 inline, 255 intank, stocl lines/rails
and the other usual bolt-ons

I'm shooting for 10psi to start, then I plan on doing a fuel system..and yes I know the stock block...just forget that.
I want to have room to grow also. Thanks

Chris

Check out turbomustangs.com. They have tons of threads about this subject.

But you are going about this the right way. You definately need a turbo to match the system.

What are the intake/exh. durations of your cam. Are they both 220?

My freind chris has a 60 MM HP turbo kit on his 91 LX. At the last dyno run he put down 496 RWHP and 500 RWTQ at 10 PSI on his stock block. He has a Cobra intake ( ported ) TW Heads, E cam, Spec III clutch, and the other various 5.0 bolt ons. No track times as of yet but his dyno #'s were impressive. Heres a motor pic

Ok thanks...yeah I have been on TM.com ALOT the last week...

95snoozer..it's a Crane custom grind
I think the cam will be fine, it hasn't been the "ideal" cam for my car in a long while, but it's staying reguardless.
Striped...those are crazy #'s, makes me think what my car would make

Like someone already mentioned..

anything between a t67-t76, will do you good. But with atleast a .84 a/r housing.. the .64 will spool too soon, and probably run out steam on your motor.
Learn to read some compressor maps, then you will find your ideal turbo.. On my 342ci motor spinning to only 5800rpms, full spool by 2800rpms, a T70 was optimum for my setup.. Yours my differ, depending on how soon you want boost, or how many rpms you wana spin your motor. And with the stock block, i doubt you wana spin it too high.

Thanks for the TM.com link again. I never asked where to look, I've been a forum pimp for years..lol I know all the hot spots, just was asking stangnet guys opinions.
Any ways the guy backed out on me after we had a solid deal on buying my S-Trim..so that cramps my idea alot. May have thrown it all the window all together.
