It's been so lomg since I've seen a Mustang that wasn't lowered that your car looks kinda strange that way even with the 16" rims.

"factory stock combo"? Those heads are illegal in factory Stock, as well as the intake...

The GT bumper doesnt look all that bad, I debated it, but went Saleen.

yeah that pic does nothing for the car at all, I didnt know those heads and intake were illegal?

mine have been ported and supposedly flow in the 265-270 range, so its a dog until around 3k rpm, I need badly some 4.10's or a good huge cam either one lol or a big shot of nos..

and I finished off my t5 tonight lol

yep got done with it almost 2 months ago, and couldnt get it even inspected at a station in atlanta, and if I really wanted to mps would have let me go through them but it would have been $600 at the very least, not including gas and all the other fee's, and I dont have a truck or a trailer. and one of my friends had this one for sale, and it was nothing when I got it, I had it 3 hours put the engine/trans/new lights and had started stripping all the crap out of it, the next day I did the dash swap with (89 car tilt column, 93 dash and wiring but kept the column, so no horn right now) my vert and got my engine harness in put in my heater box (didnt come with one) and put it all back together, next day I had off, I ran the fuel lines, got it running. Next day I went and put tag and insurance on it, and swapped the rears that morning, and drove it to bk_cauleys house about 25 miles away in the country with open shorty's lol
next day i put the exhaust on and drove it to class 60 miles away, and it runs sooo nice right now!!! 25 mpg, its a blast!!

3 weeks later without changing anything I went to pass a lady on the way to class and stripped off 5th gear (ran 4th up to like 4500) and I rode back to the house 30 miles in 4th and a 300 ft from my house it totally blew finally and I had bk pull me home, so Im without wheels for a little bit but here in bout a week it should be done..

SO! not bad for 5 days of work eh? pretty damn relaible for a 19 year old car...

lol sorry for the long post..

Factory Stock only allows E7s, or Iron GT40s with no intake or exhaust port work...

Needs lowered ASAP. I love the nose but they look 100% better with Cobra fender extensions on an LX.

ah ha!! thats what im looking for, im lowering it asap, its not realy that high my drive is on a hill so it puts the load on the front.

but I was thinking of just cutting off the scoop and smoothing it like the cobra's...

I thought of your 85 when I did this lol, only mines an aero nose lol

If i had an aero coupe, that's what i would've done too

Either that or like 25th said, a Saleen valance looks great too. IMO, the lower you make it with that nose, the better it's going to look...it'll have that low air dam look. Some 17s to fill out the wheel wells will help a lot too. I actually got the inspiration for my car from John Lindsey's American Iron Extreme car (also the Griggs "Old Blue" coupe), which is an aero nose GT with the side skirts removed and an LX rear bumper. I wanted to keep my car a 4 eye so i found the '82 nose.
