Ahh gotcha. Well that's much better, I wouldn't be able to watch my car sit for 5 years that's for sure.

Me either! It's been fully driveable (for the most part) for at least 4.5 of the 5 years.

Thanks for the kind words and well wishes for my wife, I'll pass them on to her.

Yea, that's a project for a rainy day. I overlooked painting the timing cover also, oops!

I wish I had those door panels with the subs built in. I know that you custom made them but, I sure would like a pair.

Very recently, we scanned my door panels with our Microscribe GX digitizer, and now have them in CAD format. We're going to play around with the design/configurations and possibly bring these to market. Making them the way I did just wouldn't be cost effective for anyone.

Why didn't you aim the door speakers? What amps do you have?

The tweeters (behind the grills) are on custom made brackets, and are aimed towards the opposite listener's ears. The mid-bass is designed to perform best off-axis, so "aiming" them isn't really of benefit.

What badge is that on the side? Looks sweet man! Love those door panels. Where'd you get that speaker cover thingy?

Somebody said it correct, the badges are billet emblems of my company logo. The hatch has a 6061 oval with my logo instead of the Ford script in it. I made the speaker cover thingy.

Nice looking LX, congrats! Also congrats on the Canon Digital Rebel XTi
A little "seat time" with the new camera and your pics will look better, dont worry. You may want to try shooting in RAW so that you can "fix" the shots a little in post processing; RAW offers quite a bit more flexability.

Yes, thanks. It's going to take some time to learn the camera and its operation.

See above, got 'em from my garage! Hopefully, a few more people will be able to get them in 2008.

Thanks to all for the kind words and compliments. I could *always* find more to improve/mod/fix, but I'm happy with where she sits today.

I agree with you 110%!!!

The brakes suck horribly, but I'm not going to do it until I can cough up the $$$$ for the Baer track kit and the FR500 wheels. Too spendy for now, my business gets my spare cash before the Mustang does these days...
