got this stuff the past week and i happen to be pretty bored right now so i will pics of this stuff.

upper and lower control arms for the rear.
got them pretty cheap, like 170$ shipped on corral from a small dealer called muscle motors performance. i am pretty sure they are granatelli, i've heard stories about how these are supposedly junk and will break but they look and feel pretty tough, so i will see how they work out.

moroso trick drag springs, front and rear.
got these on summit, had a great price, little over 100$ for the fronts and like 80 for the rears, the eibachs were 280. and with these moroso springs i wont have to deal with the airbag like the eibach kits, the moroso rear springs are different. the passenger side spring is shorter with a higher lbs per inch rate than the left, so it will keep the rearend more even and help out launches, it pretty much does the same thing the eibach air bag does without having to mess with it

lakewood 90/10 front drag struts and 50/50 rear drag shocks
payed about 100$ for each strut and 50$ for each shock.

the struts should really help my front end come up high, the rears are 50/50 which is about the same as stock IIRC, but they were only 50 bucks and match good with ther fronts lol. plus my current shocks probably arent 100$ anyways

and today i ordered in some gabriel replacement quads from autozone.com i am going to run them flipped around, that way they clear my current street tire AND drag tire combo. if they fit why not run them lol. they were 50$ for both.

all this stuff cost me around 700$

last track trip i my best e/t was 13.32@102 with a 1.9 60'
i've managed 1.8s before but not on my best runs lol it was cool out.
i know my car and i really feel there is still a bit left to gain in the launch.

i am hoping adding these suspension parts i will be able to consistantly nab 1.7 60's without too much effort, and maybe even grab a 1.6 if i am really lucky lol

if i can get a nice 1.7 i should get a high 12 sec pass which would make me really happy.

oh well thats all i am really bored lol let me know what you think, and some comments if any of you are running any of these parts. like how they feel and any gains you noticed?

later

what kind of tire you running at the track? with Drag slicks will be doing 1.6 like its nothing. If you can take your sway bars off before you go to the track would help alote to. Probably pull the left front up to.

i took my swaybar off a long time ago.

and the tires i run at the track are 26x10.5 mickey thompson ET streets.

they hook pretty good. once their worn out i will get a nice wrinkle wall and see if i can really leave the line hard.

Yeah my buddy is running the same tire on his 93 notch (347) We are leaving the line at 4500 rpm, we let it come out about 3 feet off the line and go WOT and that is when the 150 shot hits. Cares the front tires in first and sets them back down and picks them back up again in 2nd. One of the tires pop on the way home from the track last week so we will be going full slicks now. What all motor work you have done?

ive rebuilt my engine, still a 302, added some thumper ported e7 heads, pro products typhoon intake, b-cam advanced 4 degress with 1.72 rockers

also have

holley 190lph pump with adjustable reg.
70mm TB, 73 MM MAF, cai, pullies, bbk shorties, catless H, dynomax race bullets
z spec t5, with a KC clutch and a triax shifter, FRPP alum DS, 3.90 gears

and today i got to putting my suspension on, i didnt get it all done but i got all of the rearend components in, the arms, springs and shocks. took a while but wasnt near as bad as i thought it was going to be, hardest part was probably getting the LCA to line up with the axle mount, and it wasnt that bad either.

with just the rear stuff it seemed to hook real good, didnt spin them nearly as much as before, i can punch at 3k in first and it pretty much hooks, might be spinning them a tad bit but it really puts you in the seat alot better than it did lol

when you shift to second, it doesnt want to spin them there either, it just barks and hooks you can really feel it good.

i have some new quad shocks coming in the next few days, at the moment i am without quads, i wanted to get them spinning to see how the new suspension setup felt under tire sping but it just wheel hopped BAD, the rearend felt like it was running over a bunch of speed bumps at 40 mph gona have to wait for the quads lol

and with the control arms, where the rear sway bar mounts is just a flat piece, the rear sway bar wont go on the correct way, it will fit upside down but to get on the right way it needs to be shorted or heated and bent a little bit, i currently have it on upside down, i duno if that its causing some problems so someone chime in on that.

overall the rear components rock, the car feels alot mroe stable, at highway speed the rearend feels more stable and planted to the road.

and the rear springs also made the car sit up a bit higher in the back, the springs are taller than stock. its not that much of a difference, i think once the springs settle in the next few days it will look better.

once i get the front struts and springs on i think thats when it will all work together and really change the car. get the front end up lol

^ i dont understand why your trap is so low. Id figure w/ a thumper port, tb, intake, cam (even though its mild), and all the rest of your mods; it would go at least a 105. I went 13.9 @ 99 w/ an H-pipe, flows, 3.73s, and CAI w/ Pro-M 73mm meter. Stock Heads , stock cam, stock upper/lower, stock tb everything. You trap 3mph more than me w/ HCI?

lol duno either. i feel at the track its got a little more in it, just got to get the driving practice down.

its running alot better than it was. when i first went with the new combo, timing and FP was off and it didnt run any faster than it did before. only trapped 98-99 like i did with my stock engine.

yea you should def check the timing, fuel pressure, or maybe just go ahead and get it tuned. I seroiusly feel like its got so much more left in it. Cause 102mph, there is just something wrong. Unless you've added some weight to the car (doubtfull). Your cutting decent 60s for your mods, prob should be a ALOT better with all the beautiful suspension pieces you just acquired, so unless your shifting slow as molasses that trap needs to come up.

the traps were like 102.95 around there, so its basically 103.

i had it on the dyno and got tinkered around.

since then i added a new intake and it may need some more FP, i need to get it back on the dyno and tinker around some more.

when i originally dynoed i had timing problems. my balancer was marked wrong and i was always 10 degress off when i set my timing, thats sorted out and its running alot better. just need to see whats its making now.

on the dyno with timing WAY OFF, its made 225horse and 275 ft lbs on a mustang dyno, wasnt to happy but once i figured out why my car ran like crap (timing deal) i fixed that and it woke up alot, i am sure its putting down a decent amount more power. with the correct timing and the typhoon intake, the intake seemed to help alot according to my ass dyno but that can mislead you.

just got to see whats its making now, if i get the front struts and springs on this week i will head back to the track this friday and post the results.
