new here help stock injectors 4.6

I have always wanted a mustang since I was about 13. I wanted to find a fox but, timing just did'nt work out. I found an 02 that I couldn't pass up. I purchased it from a dealer that had no idea about the car. I have researched the 4.6 and know the restrictions of this motor. question is, the fuel injectors do not look stock like several other thing, can anybody let me know what stock injectors/color/ are supposed to look like? I googled and they look like they may be 30lb does that sound right? Does anyone have multiple views/ pictures/ of a stock 4.6... Thank you

What the hell? You asked a question, you got an answer. All 1low03GT did was state was that he felt that a picture wasn't needed, and gave you the two different colors you should find if you have stock injectors. If this offend you or made you look like a fool, then you really need some help with your self esteem.

And speaking of "wasting everyones (sic) time", you could have used the search function and found that this question has been asked and answered many, many times.

With all that said, "WELCOME"! We are all here because we share a love of Mustangs. For the most part you'll find the folks out here are here to help. But understand that this is the internet. Also understand that you are the new guy here.

And just to show that there are truly no hard feelings, attached is a pic of my 02 GT's engine (RIP). As you'll see, I had a lot of 'stuff' on it, but you can also see at least 3 of the pink injectors. Also attached is a pic from my wife's 01 GT with orange injectors. Maybe you are mistaking orange for yellow?

Sorry for trying to help you out.Didn't reply to make you look or feel like a fool, everyone is here to help, and listen.
All i was simply stating is the color of the injector is all you need to tell which ones you have. The stockers are "ORANGE",they may fade to a yellowish color over time, but when new, they are "ORANGE".
And like RedDaemon stated,a simple search on here,or even google can help greatly if that is how you feel.

1+ ya if he already used google to figure out what he MIGHT have maybe he shouldve looked up stock ones. and yes they are orange and yes they can fade to yellow. if its a stock stang, most people dont upgrade the injectors until they do head work, bigger intake, throttle body, maf... and 30# injectors? the car would have well over 500hp. the stock injectors along with an adjustible fuel pressure regulator is good for up to 325hp or better. besides if the car had that size injector with no kind of power adder the car would run like crap.

No way 30lb injectors would support 500hp, at the crank or rears...

Orange injectors are 19lbs used on pre 2001 4.6 GT's. Some earlier 2001's got them also. 2001 was a bastard year for the Mustang, haha.

Seems to me like you're doing that all on your own with your little temper tantrum?

Don't think the '96-up Mustangs had the fat body style injectors, did they? My '96 Cougar had the later pencil style pictured below.

No, check my sig...an idiot, mid thirties and without a driver's license (how does that even happen?) pulled out in front of me - I T-Boned his (well, it was actually his girlfriend's Toyota Sequoia) and totaled my car. I had just finished the whole NOS setup a couple weeks prior and had gone through but one bottle.

ya i think you gotta do some research too,if 19s can support up to 300hp, now grantit thats at the full duty cycle and the fuel pressure at 39psi. so 30s should have no problem with 500hp at full duty cycle and at 48psi of fuel pressure now thats assumming its na, now we all know that a 500hp 2v is rare and few in between, and not very streetible. so since his is not FI, and if it were your right 30s are only good for about 385 to 400hp with FI and the fuel injectors at full duty cycle, and 50psi of fuel pressue. so ya did do my research
