I used to want a Cobra front bumper, but my GT/Mach 1 front bumper grew on me, & with the Mach chin spoiler, they look sexy imo...The only thing I hate is the stupid license plate cutout. If I was to do the Cobra front though, I think I would choose the 99-01, because everyone & there mom is putting a 03-04 Cobra front on now (no disrespect ambo) & they only look sick if u have a intercooler behind them. On top of that , the 03-04 Cobra front doesnt look at home with the Mach hood & Shaker imo.

I completely agree! And while the 03/04 Cobra bumper looks good, I still prefer the 99-01's as well.

I prefer the 03 cobra bumper all the way... on a cobra. IMO, it just doesn't look right on GT's.

It does look right on Ambo's car though because he has the sideskirts & hood to match.

good luck finding a 99/01. No one makes em anymore. lol

And as for the mach 1 chin spoiler w/GT bumper; been there, done that. Loved it! But the only way I'd do it is painted and I had to paint it once a year and it was such a PITA to keep from cracking etc.

and with a GT hood

I LOVED the look as it stood out. VERY different when it's painted to match, but too hard to maintain.

Well my car IS a Mach 1, so the "Mach 1"chin spoiler & GT bumper can stay....Even though it means nuthin to have one since every other stang has one now.

Ha. Ha. No, because the black bumper on the mach fits in with the other black pieces (shaker, side stripe, spoiler). So the flat black chin spoiler fits the motif. on a white GT, it just looks out of place imo.

Oh no...I didnt know my chin spoiler looked like a "cheap ricer add on". I better take it off today & go get an 03 Cobra front bumper. GT's & Machs come with the same front & rear fascias BTW

Ambo? i thought we were boys haha i have an unpainted spoiler on my white GT and i think it looks pretty good. I got a bunch of black stuff (including my wheels) to match it though, so maybe that's why

It's just my opinion! Don't get me wrong, a chin is better than no chin, but i like to be different I guess.
