About a month ago I posted a pic of my car and received feedback to paying $2500.00 and $950.00 for the paint for my SSP Notch was too much. Crane being one. It caused a little uproar on some of the members here and stangnet.com. I wanted to show the finished product of my car, after getting painted.

I won't comment on if you got a good deal or not...unless we see some pics of the interior/underneath/under-the-hood But I will tell you that the paint looks killer. LOVE THE BLACK!

i think you got a good deal on the car bro. the paint looks good from the pics and at the price you paid for the paint job i could not even buy the materials here in ohio.

don't let crane bother you. in the short time i've been active here recently he has proven himself to be a fool. no biggie, when i was in my early twenties i knew everything as well.

I think your car looks great, I spent months getting estimates for body and paint work. Prices from 1500-3500.

In the end I sold one of my other mustangs to a guy for a grand less than i wanted for it. He was a body guy for a long time. He did all the body work and it was top notch, i payed for the materials for him to spray the car the factory color.

This where I should have gotten a pro. It had a few bad runs, and tons of orange peel. between us both wet sanding on it we have over 50 hours on it. Its turning out like glass, but I now know why body and paint costs what it does. The cars been down for months while we try and find spare time to finish it, also one more reason to consider a pro doing it. Scary thing is, that now all Ive learned about the body work and how to save a bad spray job, I really want to spray one myself now.
