Well, I finally have her lowered. She's down about 1.5 - 2" from factory.
I'm going to drive her for the rest of the summer and consider lowering another 0.5" over the winter.

The mudflaps looked bad before, now they look just horrible. They are comming off tomorrow. The way the car is parked, it looks a little higher than it really is.

Nice looking car

That's a sweet ride. I've looking at a '70 coupe with a 351C in it but wasn't sure I could get it to look very good. But your Mustang is changing my mind!

Nice work all the way around. Those 18's look really nice - I thought 18's might look too big on a classic but I think I like those better than 17's

awesome bro, i think your right needing to come down another 1/2" but only in the front, the back is perfect. the only thing i would like to see you change would be to remove the chrome rocker panel trim, it just doesn't look right with the car as low as it is.

sweetness. :nice:

Hey the wing, is that just your standard fastback unit? I've wondered about doin that to my coupe. I've never really inspected a fastbacks mounts closely so I didnt know of the mounting angle of the coupe was an issue.

Yes, it's a fastback (Mach 1) wing. BUT, it's actually mounted backwards (on purpose) and I had to modify the pedestels a little to get the angle I wanted.

Wow! Much improved for sure... yep, another 0.5-1" in the front would make it just plain killer without making it too low to drive. It really is amazing how much of a difference it has made in the persona of the car too. I think it definitely looks more modern and agressive. :nice:

I love it, one of the best looking 69-70 coupes I've seen. I wouldn't change a thing other than the mudflaps, which you're gonna do anyway.

I remember the way your car looked a few months back, when it was jacked up in the back and had different wheels on it. A simple lowering and wheel swap really brought it up to date, looks great.

I noticed that you have some real dark tint, one ? though, why not do the side windows and maybe a front strip??? heres how mine look....oh and by the way that car is BEAUTIFUL :nice: Heres a couple of pics of mine, it is illegial though at 5% :flag:

I didn't do the side windows because in my area, it's illegal to tint the side windows.

I'll consider the front strip... I havn't bothered yet because I ponied up the extra few $$ to get the windshield with the built in tint strip. It's definately not all that dark however.
