I picked it up today, well yesterday technically. It drives so nice compared to the sl2. No creeks or rattles. The stock sound system actually sounds good so im keeping it. Mach 1000 FTW! Its stock except for Flowmaster weld-ins and a K&N air filter. I did the accelerator pedal mod today so it actually goes WOT when I floor it.

The guy I bought it from had to sell it cause he has 3 little boys and his wife wants to get a mini van.

He probably put a piece of nylon between the pedal and cable to raise up the pedal so it's more even with the brake and such. You arent getting any more throttle. Stock it opens up 100% when you floor it.

Interior and exterior look very clean

I just noticed the stock shifter. It looks super tall compared to the tri ax! FTW!

Also wondering what price range it was in???

The car has 63k and I paid 10k for it.

About the pedal mod. I went to Lowes and got a nylon spacer and a hose clamp. Cut a slit in the side of the spacer and slid it on the throttle cable, then just tighten the clamp on it.

Just a few appearance things. Im about to install my hid low beams and fogs.

Im gonna start saving up for the 3.73 Gear and xcal package from American Muscle and maybe change the mid pipe. I eventually want to put a Kenne Bell on it, but that isnt going to be for a long time.

Dude, that has to be the ugliest color/interior combo I've seen! (See sig)

Mine is an '03 too with dark charcoal leather, 52k miles, only I have 540 fewer Mach's in my stereo than you. I sound like the guy who you bought it from. Got 2 girls, a boy on the way in t-minus 3 weeks or less, and absolutely no good reason to have a Mustang. But guess when "they" get it from me. When they pry it from my cold, dead fingers!!!!

Enjoy that bad boy sir!

Thats exactly right. I don't really care, i'll (hopefully) never part with mine. Barring it getting totaled. I'll just put a carseat in it if i ever decide i even want kids.

Don't do 3.73s. Do at least 4.10s.

Yes. My last Mustang had them with a V1 S-Trim @ 11lbs. Made for a ton of fun!
