pinto interchangeability

what stuff will work off a pinto? do the fenders measure the same? I noticed they dont have the 'hip' over the front wheel like the IIs do, which I really dont like. Would need some sheetmetal work to the doors for the lines to match up right, but I can do that stuff.

No Mustang II body panels will fit on a Pinto. The Front bumer will fit on 75 and up Pinto's I had a 1978 Mercury Bobcat and a II at the same time. Although the two cars are very similar, very few parts interchange. Mechanically 1975 and up Pinto's have alot in common with II's. Front suspension, and drive train (4cyl and 6 cyl). The rear springs are different though.
