i have a 2000 short block has stock 2000 gt rods and pistons with a cobra 8 bolt crank, pi heads shaved .030 with comp cams xe278 with 242 246 duration and 550 lift with the comp cams matched beehive valve springs, cometic head gaskets, bullitt intake with the complete installation kit including an anderson powerpipe the kit also includes the alternator, radiator hoses, and accelerator cables, wiring harness is complete untouched no cut wires and computer also, chip will have to be burnt to allow for the cams and whatever gears you have in the rear end
the question is will i have any problems with the heads being shaved? does anyone have their heads shaved? please help

Why did they shave them .030???????
We deck them to true the heads but never exceed .020..
I would clay the cylinders IMHO to make sure you dont have a clearance issuse.

ya i was thinking that sounded like a pretty excessive shaving. when i worked at teh L/M dealer we werent allowed to reuse navigator heads because of a problem with the increased C/R and im guessing pistong to valve clearance.

Could you run a thicker head gasket? .030 seems like a lot to me.
