From what I understand, there is little margin for error when upgrading the cams on a 2v engine. What is everybody doing to get a decent set of cams in one of these engines w/ regard to "P to V"? I obviously DO NOT want to pull the heads, unless it is absolutely necessary.

I do want a decent lope and increase in power band through 5500 RPM. Similar to a musclecar from the 60's

MHS is a mustang-only company so they knowtheir **** when it comes to the motors and their issues.

HiTech manufactures a good 2V cam as well.

+2 to MHS. FWIW, HiTech is not far from me and I don't think I'll ever do business with them again

Why? They're near me as well, and I've done some work for them, but have no experience buying from them.

I'm just asking, not trying to turn this into a "who sucks?" thread.
