PLEASE HELP...Buying stang..

I am lookin at buying a 1993 Mustang 5.0...74000 miles and it includes a Paxton Novi 2000 supercharger. Would the boost conditions and the somewhat higer miles..(supercharger put on and driven about 3000-4000 miles) Make this engine and car not worth buying?

It all depends how it was taken car of. My 93 Non S/C 302 I just pulled ran 267hp /315 tq at the wheels with 170k on the ticker...and it ran fine. Was the owner young, did he beat it. Do a leak down test on the cyl and check all the rest of the drivetrain.

Yea i guess hes really taken care of it. He put alot of stuff in it. Whole new head to tail exhaust, Ignition, Distributor, Clutch, Intake Manifold, Throttle Body. So yea i think i am gonna get it.

if you get it get us some pics but one reason i bought mine was because it was completely stock so i can do everything myself just think of that

Beware, some people put a lot of stuff into their cars to beat on it.

Check the torque boxes, you can see if its been dragged with stickier tires at any time.

Check the oil, more than likely its been changed but if you find black milky oil than hey, you make the call.

I wouldnt be scared to get it as long as it wasnt beat on too bad.
