PLEASE help me...

Hello everybody. I've got a little problem here and I was hoping that you might be able to help me out with it. I recently bought a 1968 fastback mustang. Everything on it is stock and all original. The previous owner wanted to do a full out restoration on the car but ran out of money (this seems to be a pretty big problem for many enthusiasts) so when I bought it the car was stripped down to pretty much nothing. Right now im having the engine and everything put back into the car and having an manual transmission put into it. My brother thinks I should put in a hydrolic clutch into the car while my dad on the other hand thinks i should keep it a cable clutch. What are the pros and cons of the cable clutch and the hydrolic clutch. My brother says that the conversion is totally worth it but my dad thinks hes a stupid kid who is to anal to know the first thing about what I should do with the car. This is getting a lot longer than I wanted so ill cut it short. I just want to know if my brother has any sense at all in wanting the hydrolic clutch or is my dad right with keeping it a calbe clutch.

Thanks for the input it really helps. Sorry about that you're right its not a cable clutch is a mechanical clutch. I don't know if I mentioned this before but I know next to nothing about cars. This is all a HUGE learning experience for me. So since im probably only going to be driving this car around town and back and forth to and from school the stock clutch system is totally 100% fine right? I dont plan on doing anything special to the car to try to give it any extra speed or hp. Thanks again. Ian
