Hey, I have a 2001 Ford Mustang v6 auto trans. I had a very small crank shaft seal leak and decided to get it done took it to a shop that had great reviews 4.9 out of 5 on google and they were certified on repairpal. 5 hours after it was done the check engine light came on called the same shop about it they told me they can get it scanned but I'll have to pay for diagnosis went to get it scanned and got misfire cylinder 1 and 3. I declined them to diagnose it. then I noticed my rpms were acting funny once i hit the gas at 40 mph it would jump from 2000 rpms to 4000 without the car accelerating then downshift all the way back to 2000 then I would accelerate while it downshift, then right after that the check engine light would flash then stop flashing 1 minute later. I want to say it's the transmission but it can't be it was running perfectly before I took it in to get the crankshaft fix seems like all these problems are coming after I got the crankshaft fixed. Now the shop is closed until Monday. I have to drive somewhere where it's an hour and half away then back but I feel like that's a risk.
