I'm in the process of installing my vortech, and something just doesn't seem right.. the blower is currently about 1mm away from the frame! I know things are going to be tight, but what do you guys think the deal is going to be? anyone have pictures of how their blower sits in the bay? I've searched but found mostly full engine bay shots. sorry for the long post but i need help!

Fords production tolerances are kinda lax so it wouldent surprise me if everyone with a vortech has different amounts of clerance there...and everywhere else for that matter. But I never owned or did a blower install so this is where I make my exit.

Here are a couple more pics to add. The car is sitting in the garage right now so if you need any specific angle pics just ask, I'll do that for ya.

The S/C unit itself touches nothing. The bracket touches just a little bit of line that's underneath as in the pics below. I took the unit off so you can compare a little bit better. Let us know if you have any more questions!

that seems a little close, but i guess the engine only torques upwards and wouldn't really hit anything over there. Still seems like a little bit of poor design though.
