This forum skin licks bawls....in the past you could set it back to "blue moon" or something...but now I dont see that option. This skin has to be the ugliest and most difficult to work with...example...where did the PM function go? Grrrrr
Please tell me we still have a choice!

the pm function is still there for me.

single click on the username, and its one of the options.


as for the forum skin. I believe its being worked on. I dont see how this skin could hurt your eyes more than the darkmoon one.

that one gave me a huge headache after a few minutes.

All i can say is that I dont like it!
Forums are much easier for me to read and sift thru when they are simple. I cant handle the brightness and layout.
I guess I am just not one for change.

And I know you can PM someone by clicking on their name....but then how do you locate your PM's? Am I missing the button?

click on "user cp" at the very top of the page.

the pm stuff is in the column on the left hand side of the page.

AHA! there is now a chooser at the bottom...just no button to click to accept....DOH! At least they are working on it

you probably figured it out by now, but just choose grey room from the scroll down menu and select, it doesnt need a button.

My eyes must be really bad because I didnt notice anything wrong with the blue one



I like the smiley that looks like it was hit with a hammer btw

Actually it doesnt do anything when i choose it. Might be a firefox thing?

EDIT....
just tried it in Internet Exploder...works fine
Great...now we arent even good browser friendly

if you go to usercp --> options there is a pull down at the bottom of the page for the skin, and it works with firefox.

the one on the thread page didn't work for me either, but that one did. It's got a "save changes" button

I'm using firefox and it doesn't work for me either. With IE whatever skin that is clicked, is accepted. With firefox it does nothing when I click on it

did you try the way water pog mentioned? Dont know why, but it works for me with mozilla/firefox.

I fixed mine by using custom stylesheets. They can make it whatever color they want, I override that and make it much darker.

for those of you using firefox, get the web developer extension, you can change the styles. Its a bit of work, but it helps.

I am also not a fan of the brighter theme
