I was wondering if anyone has ever changed their plenum, such as an accufab which I have, and took their old plenum plaque off and adhered it to their new one? Im not in to big manufacture tags on parts and my accufab has ACCUFAB etched in on the top. Steeda makes a plate so I think it would be pretty easy to do if I can get the plaque off without wrecking it. Anyone else ever tried this or hear of anyone doing this?

Ya, I have a couple old ones laying around and I think Im gonna use my crappiest one to practice on. I agree that these things are glued on very well. I was also thinking of using a heat gun and maybe a putty knife....Ill see if that works. I also noticed that the plate isnt very solid and is flexible. I put a few wrinkles in my crappy one trying to use a screwdriver.

Sweeeeeeeeet....got the plate off and it fit good on the accufab. I wasn't sure if it was going to fit because the accufab plenum is more rounded on top, but fit good. It just barely covered the etched in name on top. I have nothing against accufab.:canada:...I just have always liked the plenum plate which is a unique marking for our GT motors.:flag:

Im going to use heat gun and dental floss if I ever have to get it off. You know..when I transfer it to my KB someday.
