Right now, i'm in the process of installing a paxton sn93 on my car. I was just wondering if i should change the plug gap? I'm using autolite 24's. Also, with 42 # injectors and all the supporting equipment, will it run right without a chip, or do i def. need one? Thanks.

I would close them up too. I don't know if I'd go all the way to .030" though. I'd try .040" and if the car pulls strong without any misses, I'd leave it be.

i used 32-35 for mine.. then agian i also used the stock ignition.. With an MSD, and good coil, im sure you could get away with a wider gap, such as 40 or so

Yeah, i'm gonna be using a stock ignition too. I'll prolly stick around .035-.040. Thanks alot guys. would it be possible to make my car run right without a chip or a tuner?

I would tune the sucker right after you get the S/C installed. So many people cuss power adders b/c they throw them on, beat on the car, and then pop a head gasket. You must get them tuned so you can get the AF/R and timing dialed in. My tune cost me $225 and I picked up 55rwhp. That is very worth it IMO!

Oh no doubt, i completely plan on getting it tuned. The shop up the street from me does wideband o2 tuning, i just wasn't sure if that involved getting a chip burnt. The kid i bought the supercharger off of just slapped it on and beat it to 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me', and thats exactly what happened, he popped his gasket. I guess it wasn't all bad though, we built a pretty stout N/A tfs combo after that.
