my fox has eddy victor jr alum heads and it needs plugs.my question is how tight should i get the plugs?i can't get a torque wrench in there for all the plugs, maybe just 5 or 6 of them,so just how tight can i get them w/o damaging the threads in the heads?i never had alum heads before.

I would use a little bit of Anti-Sieze on the Threads too.

This is a MUST with any aluminum head.

As for the torque, no need to use a torque wrench, I always use a 3/8 ratchet held towards the middle/inner part of the handle and give it a good strong tug. If you are pulling the wheels off the ground when your tightening the plugs...you're probably over-torqueing it. :nice:

what this guy said... once you do 20-30 sets you can pretty much get them all the same torque based off feel to
