i have a pmas 75mm that i picked up for an S/C project. Im switching to an procharger and wanna know if this MAF will be ok in Blow-thru form?
The PMAS website says these are "draw-thru only". is it just a matter of the calibration being off(tuner can fix that) or will boosted air break, damage, destroy etc. the meter?
It seems other meters, even the stock ones, have been used both ways. any reason this one won't? anyone using the 75mm in blow-thru?? thanks

I'm sorry to say I don't think it will work. I read a post about the differences between blow-thru and draw-thru meters and if I remember right, the larger amount of air passing through the draw thru meter from a supercharger is too much for the draw-thru kind of meter to handle. If I find the article I will post it for you. I don't know if it can be recalibrated to work, but I would suggest going with the PMAS 80mm blow thru. It is supposed to be a very accurate meter.

I really don't think it has anything to do with the structure of the housing or which material it's made up of (plastic or metal). It has to do with the meter's ability or inability to be able to properly measure the amount of incoming air. From what I have read, the draw-thru meter is unable to read a large amount of airflow from supercharged or turbo applications. The blow-thru is designed to be able to read large amounts of air entering your intake from forced induction, hense the name "blow-thru" (Blower) supercharger. I'm not 150% positive about this, but this is what I've read on similar posts. Maybe it will work with smaller amounts of boost? I don't know. I hope this helps. I don't know if it can be recalibrated or made to work. Hopefully PMAS gets back to you, so you can ask the experts. good luck
