What is better looking on a rim, polished or chrome rims. Which lasts longer as well.

Chrome is a plating, polished is a finish. Polished will dull out but can be brought back to life relatively easily. Chrome can chip and will need to be entirely replated to be fixed.

i think chrome has a better appearance...and if you are good at keeping them clean and dont slack off then chrome a 110% i dont think i could run a different rim on my car...but when its summer time i clean my wheels every day so i dont let them get dirty im sure if you neglect them they will look like crap and ruin the finish

ummm maybe really old chrome wheels or something where the plating is coming off

chrome has a much brighter finish its like looking into a mirror

I personally prefer the "deep" look a polished finish has as opposed to the Chrome finish.

Polish it, and get it powdercoated with high gloss clear and it will last forever.
