the coil bracket can be pollshed it makes a huge difference , i think its stainless steel

It does tend to rust though after its been polished, I know mine does. If I keep after it then I can keep the rust off though.

that might happen my car doesn't get washed s much as yours i have only just touched it up over the years here is a pic.

How often do you drive your car? I think yellow is my 2nd fav. color on stangs....followed really closely by blue

i have that same coil, my bracket was all rusty tho mine got a coat of black instead of polishing tho

Man my engine bay literally can't stay clean for a week with the dust we have here!

done with 80/120/180/220/320 then buffed with tripoli and white rouge:



Not the best pic, but illustrates the clarity and mirror-like quality which is, IMO, the point of polishing metal.

guys, nother question... after polishing stuff that might rust if you don't keep up with it... what if you hit it with some of that wheel coating stuff?? would that keep it from doing that...

and the dude that polished his head lights... YEAHOH95 i think... could you pm me about how to do that plz... i tried mothers by hand, but no luck...
