polymer power box w this gear and cam?

Would the comp polymer box be ok with ported ho lower and 3.73 gear and a cam with .512 lift on intake and exhust w 281 duration or will it lose way to much low end for a street car?

It is rated for 2,000-6,000 rpm with a stock lower. I haven't seen one of those for years. I would think it would kill the low end especially with the cam you have. Maybe someone here has run one?

My son runs a Cartech box on GT 40 lower, and he was surprised at how little low end was lost (I wasn't, I am a firm believer in letting a short stroke engine spin up.), and how much throttle response was gained. That thing revs QUICK now, since it doesn't have to get a ton of air moving between the throttle blade and individual runners. (The reason SN95s have lesser throttle response.)

He has a stock cam and heads, with 4.10 gears, T5, and Explorer TB...

I too was surprised when I ran a box upper on a cobra lower... stock cam, and 2.73 gears... and the box upper was still better.

220 in 220 ex, this is on a 95 gt btw and I believe I'm fixing to send tmoss the lower to port
