I bought my shortblock from a guy who works in a machine shop and was building it for himself when he decided to go big block. My knowledge is limited when it comes to NO2 but I know there is a greater demand for fuel right? I havn't bout a fuel pump for my build yet, any suggestion? What eles do I need in preperation? How much nitro can I use with the engine below? want to suggest a kit?

Roller 306
0 Deck
9.5 compression
Stock crank
Stock rods
Forged pistons w/ nitrous rings

GT-40p heads (Twisted wedges when I can save some more money)
1.7 Roller rockers
F303 cam
Edelbrock RPM intake
Speed Demon 650 mec. secondaries

With the forged pistons, aluminum heads, and wider gapped rings you should be able to use a 150HP shot... 200HP if you are careful.

For fuel pumps you have a fuel choices.
- High flow mechanical.
- High flow electrical.
- Combination of regular mechanical and regular electric.

Other things to keep in mind:
-Timing needs to be retarded for N2O. 1-2* for every 50HP.
-Bottle heaters are great for consistant tank pressure and nitrous flow.

The iron heads won't make much of a difference...especially if you run a colder plug.

As for your T5.. as long as you don't lauch will using the nitrous or powershift while on the nitrous it should be fine. Slicks and hard launches are what really kills transmissions.
