I think it was either the air filter and box was rip'd off or the filter was exposed and not sielenced like it should have been

Man, those idiots. I had an 89 GT a few years ago and accidentally drove the super clean car into a park bench with big concrete posts cemented into the ground holding it up. Twisted the drivetrain good. Needed whole new front end but engine still ran great. A guy came to my house a few months later and offered me $2500 for it as it sat........SOLD. It was the 34th fox body this guy owned, had no job, fixed it and I have heard that it's still driving around. That notch could've been fixed easy.

I don't know but it looks like they were parting it out. Yanking the stuff off the front was supreme stupidity though. And I can't figure out why they were trying to blow the engine. And they couldn't even do it without the radiator in place. Must have been a damn good engine. Somebody should slam their d i c k s in a sliding glass door!
