pop sound after 2" lowering

I lowered my 90 gt last weekend I used 2" drop springs from steeda and kyb adjustable shocks and upr c/c plates. Now on occasion I am getting a poping sound from the right or left side that is loud and a bit scary. does anyone know what I need to fix this issue. When I installed the springs they set in the A arm just fine and when I jacked the A arm up everything lined up and it all looked perfect so I am pretty sure my springs are in the correct place. I have read some article's about installing off set bushings on my rack and pinion is this what I need to do know???? thanks

With a 2" drop, a bump steer wouldnt be a bad Idea, out of curosity, did you replace the coil spring isolators? if not, I would imagine that the spring rubbing directly against the control arm could make a nasty sound.

when I raplaced the factory springs I used the stock insolators they had both bottom and top insolators on them. I also made sure the put the new springs back in the same spot with the ends facing the correct way so I dont belive the pop would come from the springs but I am not sure. Could it be coming from my tie rods that connected to my Rack?????

i wouldn't even bother getting the bumpsteer kit. i lowered my car and just put in offset rack bushings. i drove the car without the offset bushings and the steering felt all raised and sloppy. i pout in the offset ones and it felt like normal. you should probably ALWAYS replace the spring insulators whenever you do a spring swap, unless the vehicle is like 1-2 years old. rubber rots pretty quick.

edit: my dad's volvo had a popping/clunking sound coming from the front end and it turned out to be his swaybar endlinks. did you reconnect your front swaybar? are the bushings on the endlinks shot?
