if it is stock should be matched, if you go larger then i would say yes. stock parts were a great fit on my buddys Trick flow, no matching till he bought the 70mm. my experience
isn't the street heat intake a 65 or 70 mm opening? stock TB is 60 mm? maybe it doesn't effect airflow all that much when you go from a smaller to bigger opening. i wonder if it effects it some though.
i think maybe velocity a little but it looks like you still have the stock heads, i hear they are pretty restictive anyway. hope to get mine ported soon. i am not sure that any adjustment would be worth the time if you plan to get a larger throttle body in the future, and dont we all.
yes, i plan on upgrading some time. but if i can get in the 12's with the stock TB i'll probably keep that a little while longer. so, if i can gain a little power by port matching it, it may be worth the time.
The stock EGR spacers I have measured have not been 60mm and most have a taper from about 60mm down to 56mm. Bore/hone the EGR spacer to 65mm and then open the upper intake TB hole from thje stock 63mm to 65mm by removing 1mm from the circle. Then your set for a 65mm TB when your ready.
