So i bought this roller last week and i found a set of ported heads bagged up in the spare tire well. they are e6's? who ports e6's? it looks to be a profesional job everything is very cleanly done, they also have new valves. So would these be worth trying? anybody ever run a set of these?

They're not worth the cost of gaskets IMO, but its your time and money.

see if you can get one port flow tested to see if they are worth using. Anything over 200cfm I would consider using...........

I'd be hesitant to even waste money on them to get them flow tested, but you never know. I suppose it'd be worth it just out of curiosity.

The other thing is, they would need to have the chambers measured. Chances are if someone wanted any performance out of a set of E6s, they'd want to grind away the part of the chamber that shrouds the intake valve, which would reduce chamber volume quite a bit.

flow testing one port should cost less than $50, for free heads, that's a small investment. If they were done by a "professional", the chambers should have been addressed as well - easy to see and check.

Yeah that was my initial thought. But If i can find somebody to flow test them on the cheap and they pan out i might give em a go. They would be going on a dd for the wife. (Im sick of her begging to drive mine lol)
