I am porting my heads right now and have the exhaust side finished but I nicked the valve guide in one of the ports, my question is how do I smooth this out so it does not cause any problems?
Also how far is the water jaket on the floor of the exhaust ports, how much can you take off?
You should of left the floor alone, just take out the ridges and rough spots. There's no extra flow or horsepower there, focus more on the roof and sides.
