Porting the stock heads?

Has anyone ever ported the stock E7TE heads? Is it a decent idea or should I just get a set of GT40's? How much does porting cost and would they work if they had some decent work?

Would it be worth it?

there are guys on this board who are making great power with stock ported heads. one guy just made almost 300 to the wheels if i remember right. thumper is a good guy to get in touch with since he seems to be the e7 porting master. but with a cobra intake, and crane cam you will typically see 250 plus to the wheels. run a search this topic has been covered several times
