possible supercharger

I found this supercharger on craigslist a little while ago and the guy says he thinks its for a 5.0 cuz he got it with his car. It seems weird how hes selling for so cheap but it may mean he will let it go for cheap. im not to worried about a little gamble maybe but i figured id ask around here first.

NOVI GSS supercharger--msd 6BTM ignition box

anything you can tell me would be great. I know nothing about superchargers so any info is useful.

my engine is completely stock too. dont know if i should have any supporting mods or what.

Its so cheap because its missing parts and is from 1937

Stay as far away from that piece of crap as possible. FYI there is about 12 s trims on the corral for 1k ish.

I prefer a Vortech model, I'd stay away from that one. Looks really old and like mentioned missing parts.
