Possibly a dumb question...

As opposed to what way? The only way to do it is to use a volt meter and measure the voltage on the wires going into the tps (+ on green, - on black). Then adjust the tps by unscrewing the 2 screws and rotating it until you get the desired voltage (~.98vdc)

You can use the inverse vector of the oscilliscope reading at 20000 megaohms when the idle is at exactly 672 RPM at humidity is at 5%.

Note: this only works if your name is Jim.

Seriously, it does not get much easier than the voltmeter method.

Good luck.

I would still want to check the setting after installing a new one.
Thats the same way not another way. Do you have aftermarket TB? If not and your having idle issues more than likely a tps could do the trick. If not take it back or leave it on its not that much dinero.
