I recently came across a 93gt in very good shape and had a few quick questions about it. It has 79k miles and looks very well taken care of. It has longtube headers, no cats, flowmasters and a tb coolant bypass. It ran very poorly when first started, but after it was warmed up it ran good. It has a brand new transmission clutch pp, etc.. The owner was asking 6100 but I talked him down to 5500. Does this sound like a good deal? The brakes seemed fairly weak but other than that it was good, no rust or any signs of rust.

5500 is still a bit much in my book with those mods but its not a bad price if the car is near mint. i think the only main difference between the 92's and the 93's is that 93's dont have the factory forged pistons.

nope no smogging needed. I also forgot to mention the transmission seems really really tight. The throw is extremely short and percise. Maybe I'm just used to my sho but damn has it got a good trans.

I paid 6200 for my 93 about 4 years ago with 50k miles and you could eat anywhere off the car thats how clean it was, had no mods except for puleys, 180 stat, and a k&n. I say 5k is reasonable

paid $6000 bucks in year 2000 for my current 93gt.

In 98, I paid $8000 for a mint 93gt

If it flips your switch go for it!

Offer him $5000 cash...

Why would he have a new transmission...that makes me wonder...hmm...

I don't like the running rough when you first start it...

Good Luck
