Post Pics of your Freshly Detailed Stangs! All Years!

New hood coming in next week (3 inch cowl for the correct year). Just need to decide on semi-gloss, satin, or matte black. Originally going matte, not sure now.

This 86 is one of those cars that I see for the first time each time I see it. This has to be one of the cleanest 4-Eye's here.

Can I just make one...

If you are on the dark skin, the 'middle' does have slots; They're just hard to see.

I have a set of the Pro-Line on my 89 .

thanks Guys- Bought her 2 years ago. Spent about 4 years looking for a stock, low mile, non rusted out 4 eye T top car. Probably saw about 20 of them before buying this from Chris at AC Carcraft here in Pompano, who needed the money for one of his other builds. Here are some additional pics for you. I am going to have her repainted the stock Light Regatta Blue once things get back to normal as the prior owner used cheap clear that has lifted in spots. Other than me putting on a flowmaster cat back, 3G alternator, Taurus Fan, and CAI she is all stock. Everything works- AC, PS, PB, CC, etc and believe it or not is my daily driver . I really love this car and it is a blast to drive, even with the AOD and 3.08's.

With all this isolation, I finally got to getting her out of winter hibernation and cleaned up.

First pic had just finished rinsing.

Second had dried and applied Meguiars Quik Detailer. Still want to give a good polish with the buffer.

Its called Bonneville Black Cherry from the Eastwood Company. Its a pre-mix available in B/C or single stage. I used the B/C.

The car is a factory black exterior with black interior. I wanted something a little different and what the heck, its only paint.

In the evening/dark it gets close to black in appearance, but in sunshine...

Again, just wanted something a little different.

The plate I got as a birthday gift when I turned 17. The plate is actually older than the 90 GT its on.

I wax it every 3 months with Meguiars Canuba Plus and weekly it gets wiped down with Adams Detail Spray Shine which I also use in the engine bay. Wheels I use 3D Final Touch.
