I'm picking one out, and think it would be a much better idea to see them in actual mustangs instead of trying to imagine what it would look like

This is a Lecarra Mark 3 Elegante, and I'm going to return it for another one. This one is totally flat, and I need at least a little dish to it (1.25 inch) or it hardly clears my turn signal stalk. If you buy one, you might want to avoid buying it from Summit Racing. They don't have very good information on their website as to what you are getting or what you need. I'd just call up Lecarra, they are VERY nice to work with

LeCarra wood grain

Here's my LeCarra wood grain...in the picture it looks almost red, but it's a woodgrain finish.

Not the best shot of the wheel, but you get the idea.

Those are Recaros, as used in 79-80 Fox Mustangs, and in some 80-81 T-birds and Cougars. I have a set in my 69 Cougar.

Keeping on thread, I have a 14" Grant Signature Wood-rim steering wheel.

I found mine about 12 years ago and they were pretty nasty then. Still shedding foam from the bottom cushion on my carpet.

does anybody have this?
does it stick out too far? I already think my grant (which is flat) is too far out, does it omit the spacer that is usually with the mounting kit?
