You referring to the Avatar??

I see youre fairly new here so Ill update you...The guys all busted my hump for the last year, b/c I wanted to ditch them for some new ones, so I put "FOR SALE" in my sig...IT stayed there forever...NO OFFERS!

Even for a month after I took them off...nothing.

When I finally got the energy to list them on Ebay, they sold the first week....$300
We all kinda "celebrated" the sale...

Heres my beater/winter car. 1990 Acclaim, 80K, no power anything, no radio, car starts with no key, burns a Qt. of oil a week, no suspension, barely any brakes, no ac, no heat.. ect ect.

This car sucks ass..

Sad too the interior and body are in perfect condition.

Had to do a little home made CAI.. notice the awesome Duct tape.

[/IMG]

For some reason this car had 1 Cat and a "middle muffler?"
So that had to go.. Awesome 6 dollar Flex Tube Home made Exhaust. Gotta love High Temp Silicon

Gets me to work doing snow plowing when no one else is on the road! Top Speed 50 MPH

Some advice for a beater for me.

I found a 1999 Saturn SW2 (it's the compact Stat. Wagon, which I want for extra room).

(ASIDE FROM LAUGHING AT IT, is that a decent car for a beater? I can get one with low mileage and in great shape for about $3k.)

carjacked, that's one hell of a beater!

here are a few pics of assorted "mods" I've done to my 92 Chevy Lumina beater, yes that exhaust tip is a coffee can. All the hardcore body mods are made of 100% super light weight aerospace cardboard and mega high performance racing formula 1 duct tape

It's a good car though, I just dont have any pics of it how it normally looks. That's one of my roomates in the background of 2 of the pics btw.

I had a nice fuel sipping 91 diesel jetta but some lady turned into me from oncoming traffic and totaled it. I'm having a hell of a time finding another diesel-people arent letting em go dont blame em with the cost of fuel and all.

MY OTHER RIDE IS YOUR MOM....I have about 5000 beaters, aka all the cars at avis and budget rent-a-car.. Thats right. Im a maintince mechanic there(oil changes, tires, and recalls) but i tear the hell out of all those cars. ive got backwards 180s down perfect, ive driven for a half hour on the freeway with the e-brake on, ive melted more tires than you'll ever beleive, throwing cars in reverse doing 30 AND stepping on the gas pedal....those poor poor cars, but its cool cause its all waranty once it breaks (not tires or brakes though) i just park it out back and our mechanics that do waranty work fix it and make up some bs.

Okay all. I know I am gonna take some crap for the fist pic. I only rented this car from a friend for one winter. I was dead broke, and there was no way I was gonna drive my stang in the snow. I ended up with this thing. Heat only worked on low, none of the windows rolled down, no front springs, hatch didn't open, and had a pair of 12s and a nice pioneer deck though. I did everything in my power to kill this thing. Nada. It just kept running. I am doint a lot better financially, so I bought some new cars. The other cars are 05 Escape Ltd, and an 04 Focus ZX5. Grandma works for Ford, so the discounts are nice.
