Are you buying from ENCS by any chance? I used to be a salesman with them a while back and that 7 year warranty is junk, same as ziebart. If you change anything, ie. intake, filter, exhaust, w/e and dont have maint. receipts, they will void your warranty. If you keep it stock and pay a ford dealer to do all the maint. for you, then you will be fine.

Yea, I did do this with ENCS, good eye. This will be my 3rd car with ENCS, all had the 7 year warranty, all were modified, and never had a problem getting waranty work done. Some mods were done by me at the craft shop, and some the Ford dealer in Germany did. When anything that was wrong that was covered they took care of it. Maybe it was just the dealer in your area being unreasonable.

BTW I did get hosed on my first car from ENCS with that Ziebart crap. They got me for about 350.00 if I remember correctly. The second car I said I didn't want it and the salesman said it was already on and so I told him to take it off. Anyways, I raised so much hell I ended up not having to pay for it.

Your very lucky that they honored your warranty. Like I said, I used to be an ENCS salesman, and we had a ton of complaints of the warranty not being honored at dealerships in the states and if they had a single mod, they would void the whole thing. ENCS agents also get paid more for selling all the extra stuff. Just selling a car they get 450, add OPP its another 100. Add Ziebart, another 75 and lojack anothe 50. Everytime they give u a quote, they automatica5ly add all that stuff without asking you. I know the autocraft shop guys never cared cuz they got paid more from the warranty than you would have paid them.

But its nice to see you got yours loaded up. Are you still in Germany? Im buying mine from ENCS also, but in Korea and Im debating on the electronics package right now.

I live in Skopje, Macedonia, but I work in the breakaway Kosovo. Thats another story. I tossed and turned over the electronics package myself. I like bass. My previous car and the Shaker 1000 and I was pretty happy with it. I was just about to buy that Shaker Upgrade kit from Moss but I ended up selling the car. It wasn't until I saw that Crutchfield had a sub woofer that I could add I decided on the electronics package. I didn't get the rear camera or spoiler for that matter. I don't like any of the spoilers offered. Ford should have put the camera someplace other than the spoiler. I'm sure they know lots of people change their spoilers.

I have had a few friends working in Korea. I don't know who all is left there because the company I work for loss the contract in Korea last year and the new company cut the wages quite a lot. I heard many of them bailed and came back stateside.

So is it too late to order a 2011 GT? Do you just go to the local dealer?? Since the car is not on the lot, can you negotiate price at all??? Im not new to mustangs but definitely new to ordering a car. I basically want a premium GT with leather, 6sp, 3.73s, and do they have an option for a GT500 style spoiler?, the premium wheels and thats about it. what would i be looking at $ wise for those options? thanks

I did a side by side comparison on the sticker of my 2010 GT v.s. the pricing sheet w/invoice prices on a 2011 Gt. My MSRP was $35.5K and a comparable 2011 came in around $37.7-38K.

Yep, just got to a local dealer and they should be able to order you one.
that price is about right. now, there is no option for a GT500 spoiler

anyway, to compare to your deal to mine this is what i re-ordered on 4/27

Black, GT Prem.
401a with white stitching
Brembo pack
Electronics pack
HID (with security of course)

MSRP before A plan is $39,000, Ill be paying $34,945.

The Stripes are coming from a local sign shop.. we're custom crafting these to ensure the right color (matching the spokes in the wheels)..

I had a heck of a time settling on Black., Struggled for weeks knowing Black looks great, BUT, shows every speck of dust.

I love Black as well, but after having a Midnight Blue Metallic Silverado the last 5 years, I'm not sure I want another dark color. It shows all the dirt and swirl marks.

You got a great deal also. I think the electronics package will be worth it since it looks like we cant upgrade our radio deck. I spoke to that one company that is selling the kit for it, but they even said it looks ugly and cheap. So figure the navi and everything it has will be worth it. I was just gonna get my own security and aftermarket HIDs for less $$.
