I was thinking about a Focus SVT pump, stock injectors and a tune to go with the dry fogger. Lastly, should I save up for an aftermarket metal intake?

The stock injectors won't supply enough additional fuel to run a very big shot at all. They would prob be maxed at a 50 shot, and that may be pushing it. I wouldn't risk it by running stock injectors.

Thanks for all the help guys! So, Focus SVT pump and larger injectors it is. Now, my last question. The stock intake should be ok with the proper set up and tune I would assume? I am hearing mixed ideas on this as well.

Lastly, just when I thought I was ready to hit the order button, on my way into work, I heard a rattle from the front end. Power steering rack is f'd and control arm bushings are all but gone. Grrr, oh well, looks like I am doing the k member, control arms ect first. Oh well.

At least all the great advice I got will be a huge help in a few months when I get around to getting the spray.

That sucks, but it'll be even more worth it when you do spray it for the first time.

Stock intake, as in manifold? Yes... take the proper precautions, you'll be good. I've smacked the limiter on accident while spraying and luckily my backfires were out of the exhaust. However, I had a friend destroy his intake (plastic everywhere except in the engine, luckily) when his fuel solenoid stuck open while he was spraying. He couldn't shut it down in time and boom she went.

I only have limited experience with the gas, and that was with a blower+meth before it kicked in. Had a Harris Speed setup, tore it out, went with a standard MSD window, WOT, and a couple other inexpensive things to complete the kit. I traded out the fogger for a plate, but not sure that was needed. It never really did anything on my car except give it a nice kick on the top end, but the ET was really gained since I dumped so much timing early on and only kicked it in during the top end. My fastest MPH in the 1/4 and 1/2 mile were without it.

Now my car is NA with the plate hooked up, but haven't tested it. I would take the advice of the nitrous gurus here, especially Tim. I've kept track of his results here and on other boards for a decade or more even though I don't post on them.
