Electrical Power but not sound

Hey! I have 93 mustang I buy an aftermarket radio I connected the harness on the back of the ac controls but now have power but not sound what is the problem?

Gonna need some more info. Maybe some pics of connections.
Did you get an adapter harness? Did you splice wires?

Yeah I buy the Metra 70-1770 harness

Is there a stock amp under the passenger seat?
I think that's where the 93 had em.
And solder and heat shrink those connections, a year from now they will start to loosen up and sound crappy.

Unplug the wires for the amp and plug the adapter to the harness. Something should happen.

Did you connect the speakers to the right wires by using a wiring diagram, or did you just go color to color on the adapter harness to your radio harness?

IIRC, the speakers don't match up to the colors on the adapter harness.

This is a 1993 right? Use this to verify the speakers are going to the right locations. This is the body harness connections, which assumes you have bypassed the 1993 amp harness completely, which I think you have by the pics.

(use the left schematic) right is the amp harness (blue wire and corresponding power plug)
