Ok I just installed a new set of 30lb injectors and a pro-m 80mm mass air meter into my car. Now and then when I shift to second or third there is a second of power loss then it kicks back in as if nothing happened. Any ideas??

30's seem a little high for your setup. I would have gone with a 75-77mm meter and 24's. 30's would be good for a S/C car making 350-400 hp.

Sounds like the problem that I've had for the past year after my injector swap, but I only went from stocker 19's to late-model 19-pounders. May or may not be an issue with something else in the system. See if you're getting any trouble codes - if your system's running rich, then you're in the same boat of misery as I am (or you're running too much injector for your setup).

You don't by chance have a vacuum leak around one of the injector o-rings do you? That is a common problem for people that replace injectors. Does the engine want to stall during hard stops?

And yes you are way over injected. I had a very similar combo to yours and it ran fine with the 19#ers and an AFPR.

With 30's you are going to be rich down low. Take a little bit of FP out. 1/2 lb at a time until it feels right.

An 80mm meter is the right choice.

Yep.

The only reason one should get 30lb injectors a 302/306 is if it is a high-revving engine and where they have a dyno tuner/chip or some sort of engine management system to compensate.

I have 30lb injectors, to rich...

Sounds like an awfully expensive solution to your problem. Before you get into that, take a little pressure out. You can get it set so that it idles rich, but when you step on it and run through the gears you'll never be that low in the rpm again, and the car will be fine.

Yeah I actually just worked the numbers myself and decided on the 30s. Oh and I plan on getting the Anderson Motorsports unit anyway so it's not a quick decision.

Well does anyone know how to go about sending in a Pro-M meter to be re-calibrated?
