Where can I find a set of PI heads for cheap? I am looking to spend 1500$ roughly over the next few months to upgrade my 97 4.6L. I am thinking PI heads/intake, Accufab TB/Plenum, 87mm MAF, Dyno tune, 3.73/4.10 gears, and a new mustang intake setup. Anyone have advice or info? Thanks. Trying to do this on a college budget and weekends only as its my daily, and only driver.

instead of doing the PI headswap, why not just swap the whole engine for a 99+ motor? You can spend just as much money by doing that as swapping the heads alone.

I am looking into that also. Some of the guys over at TCCOA are doing 02 explorer swaps. there is a little conversion work required but nothing too big. i am curious as to the difference between the 97 4.6L and the PI versions besides the heads/intake. Anything else major?
