My son has a '65 coupe with a 302 and it has power steering. The steering box however is in dire need of replacement. While rack & pinion would be nice it's out of the budget for awhile. So we've talked about upgrading to a Flaming River steerinng box but the question comes up as to whether he should convert to manual steering or remain with PS. I'd like to hear pro's and con's for both, especially from those who have had a chance to try both types of steering.
