Ok, two questions........

I have 66 coupe 6cyl. Manual steering of course.
Getting the typical v8 swap.

Looking into power steering but on a budget.

Can I add all the suspention pieces , but use my 6 cylinder steering gear box (20:1 , right?) and still have the same quality/difficulty to steer as i would with the manual 6 steering? Can it work that way as long as I dont add the power pieces? Will it even work as a manual set up with the power linkage?

Also, is there any Granada parts that will swap? I know the later cars with the wider frames rails (67-up) you cn use some of the parts, but unsure on the 66.

There is no difference between 6cyl and V8 steering boxes, so you can use your existing box and change to V8 linkage.

You can also use your existing box if you install power steering. It will be a slower ratio than what came on factory power steering cars, but with the slower manual box ratio, it will be REAL easy to turn and won't seem as touchy.

Nothing from the Granada would be like what came on a 65/66 Mustang.
