Power Window Problem

when i put my 90 lx vert in storage last fall drivers window worked great . fast up and down never a problem. pull it out last week window wont work.all others work. when i hit switch headlights dim and volt meter moves. im thinking something with motor from sitting. anyone have this problem before?? anything i can do before replacing motor like check and clean a connection?

Sometimes my driver side motor acts up on me and it stops working. So I whack the door panel a few times and it works again. The motor is just worn out. I have seen repair kits around but I don't know about their quality.
