Powerdyne Help

I recently purchased a mustang with a 351 swap and a powerdyne bd11 sc on it. I have been hearing a noise only when its cold coming from the headunit sounding like a grinding, knocking sound. I just pulled the headunit, thinking a bearing was bad, but when I spin it, it feels and sounds good. It didn't have any problems making 9lbs of boost and it still whined when installed. Also, there is no damage to the impeller. Should I send it in for a rebuild or what else would you do? Does anyone local rebuild these?

that used to be my motor setup, it has been making that noise for a long time, just when warming up????????? no clue checked many times myself.
rattle sort of noise from blowwer area. i think you should do what me and jeff did when we owned that setup. turn the radio up til warm. later wally

lmao nice answer Wally. When he was describing the car I thought it might had been Jeff's old one but wasnt sure.

I heard a howling noise on my old old old A-trim just before the bearings went out. The impeller had contacted the housing and was shaving off metal and blowing it in to my intake. Yeah that sucked! Vortech said sorry we can’t fix it. So $1400 later I had me a new V2-SQ head unit.

I just got the supercharger installed and it wasn't what I expected. The noise is twice as bad as previously and sounds as if the impellar were contacting something. The noise was not there with the supercharger off the engine, and I really don't know what to say. I am going to pull it and send it back in at the rebuilders expense this time. At least it came with a warranty!
