I am looking to add a chrome altenator to my chrome/polished engine bay. The two brands that seem to be the most popular are PA Performance and Powermaster. My question is whether there is a huge quality difference in these two brands as there is a significant price difference.
Anyone with experience with either brand, please share your insights. I will be looking for a stock replacement as even though I have an aftermarket stereo system, I am only running 1 extra 500/1 watt amp, and most people that I have spoke with suggest that the stock unit will be ample. Insights on the size of alt. would also be appreciated.
